With our diamond turning lathe (Precitech NanoformX), we are able to prototype several types of optical components. The device can produce parts made from polymer (PMMA, PC, COP, etc.), from infrared optical crystals (MgF2, ZnSe, Si, etc.) and from non-ferrous metals with a form precision of 0.1 μm and a surface roughness of 1nm.
We also prototype optical microsystems using microembossing and laser lithography. We design and produce items including micromasks, diffractive systems and Fresnel microlenses. With our laser lithography system (Heidelberg DWL66+), we can achieve resolution detail of 1 μm with the possibility of printing on several layers in the resin. We can then replicate these stamps in polymer or UV resin using our nanoembosser (CNI NILT).
