The project aims to develop a comprehensive process for the manufacture of precision-injection-molded optical parts. The techniques used will allow the production of free-form lenses. The company will also see its mastery of the molding of precision-enhanced mechanical parts as part of this project, which should lead to a significant increase in its exports. Finally, the Canadian optical ecosystem will be strengthened as the current supply of optical molding is limited.
