capteurs à base de nanoparticules / sensors based on lanthanide

The aim of this PART project is to determine how to develop functional and stable ink formulations containing luminescent, bright and multicolored lanthanide-doped nanoparticles for microprinting; use these ink formulations to fabricate prototypes of optical temperature and ion sensors by aerosol microprinting on photonic devices and optical fibers.

In this PART project, the need for new ink-based detection tools containing lanthanide-doped nanoparticles was expressed by researchers at the University of Ottawa Hemmer laboratory (for temperature detection) and confirmed by private companies including Kemira for metal ion detection, Immune Biosolutions for combining the new diagnostic tool with immunotherapy development, and Cytodiagnostics for performing diagnostic tests to detect disease biomarkers.
